Because of the possibility for the switch handle to be placed in the OFF position when the switch is still in an ON (closed) position, which eventually might result in the potential PERSONAL INJURY OR PROPERTY DAMANGE, Square D 30A & 60A General duty Switch manufactured between September 11, 2006 and November 4, 2006 are now being recalled.

PARLIAMENTARY PROCEDURE

Although many people are familiar with the title of book Robert’s Rules of Order, few know that it is the most widely used book on parliamentary procedure in the United States and here in the Philippines, that the book is used by organizations ranging from homeowners’ associations to school boards to Fortune 500 boards of directors.

Parliamentary procedure defines how a democratic organization works—how its members make decisions, how its leaders run the organization to meet the needs of its members, and the rights of members and non-members. Parliamentary procedure is vital to the fair operation of professional organization like I.I.E.E.

Attached presentation provides you some basic information about Robert’s Rule of Order. It discusses fair and effective meetings to promote orderly discourses and debate, to defend the parliamentary rights of the minority, to act on the will of the majority and to streamline the working of the business of the Forum.
