Goodday sirs, all REE in the long run will indeed be ralwayed towards getting PEE’s. As an REE, I would like to ask samples of the Thesis/Technical Paper “titles” that were submitted and approved by the BEE so that we the REE’s can start and create our titles of ever we have proposal to the PRC/BEE. May your support for the REE to become PEE if deserving be favorable. Your Response would jumpstart a lon long way.

It’s nice of you to hear that Flicker. Actually IIEE-Northern Laguna Chapter has adopted a program that will help aspiring REE Chapter members to become PEE. At the moment, the technical committee which handles this activity is yet to release details of the program and of course this includes technical information similar to what you have mentioned.
One thing I’m not sure about the technical paper is if PRC, would allow us to discriminate it. These technical papers are literary works which cannot be published nor be given to anybody without the prior consent of the author.
At any rate, I’ll send you inform you about any updates of our program.

Joseph,
If the “charge” you are referring here is the compensation for a Salaried Electrical Practitioner, try to read this manual: “Professional Manual for Electrical Engineers and Electricians” 1996 edition.
It has this Formula
S=0.5 So[(W/Wo)+(P/Po)]
Where
S= The updated minimum service fee or salary at the time offer is made.
So = The minimum service fee or salary as established in the edition of the standard
W = Current Minimum Basic Daily Wage at the time of your computation.
Wo = Minimum Basic Daily Wage at the time this Manual or Standards was published which was P145.00
P = Current Consumer Price Index (All Items - Philippines) at the time offer is made.
Po = Current Consumer Price Index (All Items - Philippines) at the time this Standards was published which was 202.8 (April 1995)

Dear Team NLC,
We are celebrating the 3rd Anniversary of the Most Outstanding Chapter 2006 & 2007 on Feb. 16, 2008. You are cordially invited on Saturday’s event. There are various activities we have prepared such as civic program in the morning from 8am to 12pm. This event will happen in Bgy. Sto. Nino in Binan, Laguna. Many years ago IIEE is not seen having activities in this area. In 2008 NLC will be visible not only in Sta. Rosa area but also in Binan and San Pedro area. We want to encourage and show to the members in the area that IIEE NLC exist in their work area and resident area.
In the afternoon, as part of the services of NLC, there is scheduled FREE Technical Seminar - let us take this opportunity to learn and update us on technical aspect of our profession.
And the most awaiting moment for this day is the 3rd Anniv celebration at the Guilly’s Paseo 3.
See you all on Sat.
To know more about this event/details, please response to this forum/discussion box or email us at iiee_nlc@yahoo.com
